| Course Description: |
|
Ethics for astrologers has only recently come to the attention of the astrological community. In this course, we will explore the nature of ethical codes and ethical decision-making. Specifically, we will look at ethics as they relate to issues of professional responsibility, competency, personal needs and values, dual relationships, advertising, confidentiality, citing of degrees and credentials, boundaries of competence, providing accurate information, informed consent, publishing, counseling, prediction, research, archaic terminology, and when to refer clients to other professionals. Special attention will be given to the astrologer's shadow and our collective vulnerability to issues of inferiority and inflation. ~ Glenn Perry, Ph.D. |
