Department of Professional Training:
Diploma Module

The completion of essential astrological knowledge, the Diploma Module carries the student into the essentials of professional techniques and knowledge. This includes the following required courses:

• the learning of analytical and projective techniques
• the history of astrology in the Western world
• traditional techniques
• ethics

Then there are elective courses in which a student may choose for graduating credits; a minimum of one course each from the two groups below is required for graduation:

• Mundane Astrology, or
• Midpoints and Dials

And

• Vedic, or
• Chinese/Mesoamerican Astrology

At the end of this series of courses a student has completed a possible total of 83 weeks of study, and they will graduate with a diploma. After graduation they may use the letters Dipl. O.C.A. after their name to indicate they have completed de rigueur study at Online College of Astrology.
